About us

Hello there!

Opened Summer 2023 - Hope & Joy Montessori is a friendly neighborhood school, created by educators. We know the value that a small and supportive school offers, and are thrilled to open our doors to children and their families. Children's voices are heard and celebrated here!

Our thoughtfully prepared environment is a place where children 33 months to 6 years of age can thrive. Through relationship driven learning, we maintain a welcoming atmosphere where each child feels valued and respected - while building a strong educational foundation.

Together, we have over 20 years of experience in educational environments. Erin, our Guide, is Association Montessori International (AMI) certified. Our Montessori Children's House (Preschool + Kindergarten)  provides a range of experiences that promote intellectual, social, emotional and physical development. Children are encouraged to explore, learn and grow at their own pace allowing them to take ownership of their learning and develop a sense of independence and self-confidence. Ample time is given to learn, create, and play - both indoors and outdoors. We believe a classroom is more than just four walls!

Visit with us and explore our school! We look forward to partnering with you on your child's early education journey.

Discover The Joy

"We are excited for a school that values the students, meets them where they are, to have an affectionate teacher, prioritize time outside and learning the Montessori way."

-Preschool Parent

"What truly stands out is the dedicated and passionate staff. They create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where every child feels valued and encouraged. The Montessori philosophy is not just a tagline here – it's woven into every aspect of the center's operations. The teachers act as guides, allowing children to learn at their own pace and explore their interests. It's evident that they have a genuine love for what they do, and that love translates into a wonderful experience for the children."

-Summer Program Parent

"This Montessori is a hidden gem where nature, art, science, music, and movement come together in perfect harmony. If you're seeking a place that nurtures your child's individuality, curiosity, and creativity, look no further. My child's growth and happiness here speak volumes, and I am immensely grateful to have found such an enriching environment for her early years."

-Summer Program Parent

"The incorporation of nature exploration into the curriculum sets this childcare center apart. The outdoor space is a treasure trove of learning opportunities, with dedicated play areas, gardens, trees, and open spaces that encourage children to connect with the natural world. It's heartwarming to see my child come home excitedly sharing stories about her outdoor adventures, whether it's observing frogs, planting seeds, or simply feeling the grass beneath her feet."
